In June 2008, Bishop David Choby assigned Father Kirk the task of creating a new parish to serve the Catholic community of Spring Hill and Thompson's Station. For over eight years, our church has been ministering to the needs of Spring Hill and Thompson Station as a part of the Diocese of Nashville. While facilities and faces have changed over the years, one thing remains the same…our commitment to Christ, to one another, and to the betterment of our community.
Our church today is an active community comprised of over 630 households. In September, 2012, twenty-five acres of land on Buckner Lane was purchased to establish a permanent location for our church and provide for future growth as we were outgrowing our worship and education spaces. Our initial plan is to build a multi-purpose facility of approximately 21,000 square feet on this property that will enable the parish to offer traditional elements of a full service Catholic community, a place where we can worship, socialize, and educate people in our faith.
Led by a dedicated pastor and strong corps of lay leaders and volunteers, there is an increasing number of ways that people of all ages can participate in the spiritual, educational, social and service ministries of our church. Please join us on our journey of faith.
